Office Online Help blocked by Norton Internet Security

I've just installed Office 2003, on an XP Pro system running Norton Internet
Security 2004. When trying to use the Help when in Word, all I get is a
message "Unable to connect to Microsoft Office Online"

The feature works when NIS is disabled.

It works for help in Outlook when NIS is enabled.

It has to be some setting or permission in the NIS, but what is it and how
do I change it?

This is an issue of interaction between two pieces of software. The answer
can come from either side of the equation.

If I know how Office products made the call to the internet, I could perhaps
get the around the block.

Ergo, it is a NIS issue, not an Office issue.

Many firewall products have the ability to 'set' the programs
that are allowed through. In the case of MS Office 2003 its
the actual app that may need to be allowed through, for example
'Microsoft Office Word' is the set to be allowed internet access
on the firewall I'm using. Without it set the online help does
not work.
