Office Online won't connect

KAM

I just loaded Office 2003 and I get an error trying to connect to Office
Online from the Getting Started task bar in any of the applications (Word,
Excel, Powerpoint...).

I upgraded from Office 2000, have a constant internet connection, use
Windows 2000 and I use Internet Explorer.

Anytime I hit Connect to Office Online from the task bars along the side of
one of the applications my text editor opens and I get the following message:
C:\Documents and
Settings\username\http:\r.office.com\r\hlid\OfficeFromClientWithLogging
contains an invalid path

The file name changes slightly depending on the Office Online feature or
Application I am trying to run.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi Kam,

There are a couple of possibilities. Do you have a firewall/security
product running? If so, has it been set to allow the MS Office apps
to access the Internet?
