Office Picture Manager - 2003

I have now upgraded or re-installed EVERY MS product on my XP Pro system.
Picture Manager hard freezes within a minute of opening, requiring a COLD
boot. The ONLY other prog that ALSO does this is Front Page.
I had to change all my viewers to IE and cannot use either Picture Manager
or FP on this box.
EVERY OTHER PROGRAM, graphics or other, works fine.
Ideas????

sounds odd.

i have known that if you try
to locate the executiable for
picture manager, the targeted
drive is front page.

I thought it was interesting that
ms would have designed it that
way.

one thing you can do is clicking
on the properties for picture manager
and exploring the folder on your
hd by copying and pasting the location
of the file into your file manager. this
might help to see the state of the office
tools folder where the shortcut is located in.

another way to test it is to
see how the program acts in safe mode.
