Office Pro 2003 edition - reinstall or backup?

Hi,

I have a sony vaio laptop which I've bought with me to thailand. Since
getting here it's become sluggish, slow, freezes, all sorts. I've tried
everything suggested by Vaio support but no joy. The one option left is
a recovery from a partition back to factory condition. This is fine
apart from one thing. I will lose MS Office 2003 Pro edition which was
purchased separately to the vaio.

I've left the discs in storage back in the UK! What can I do? Can I
pay a fee for replaced discs? Or make a backup of the software before
I restore the Vaio?

I have the PID. And that's about it..

Any advice suggestions before I restore the Vaio to it's original
condition would be much appreciated.

About the only thing you could do is clone the complete drive & subsequently
recover it, but if the problem is software related it will likely be
reproduced.
You would otherwise need to borrow an MS Office 2003 installation set of the
same version installed.
In order to obtain replacement disks from MS you would need to provide proof
of purchase.
