HI quick question everytime I open anything in office 2003 like office word i
get a dialogue box saying configuring office word i then get a prepairing to
install box appear before word finally opens is this going to happen
everytime or is there an update that I havent yet managed to download ?
I have Microsoft Office Pro and im definately not going to be paying for an
upgrade as I feel ripped off already if this is whats going to happen
everytime I open something.
If microsoft think im going to paying out top dollar very few years for
legit software like i have been doing then they can think again

Try this;
right-click on an Office program
shortcut, choose to run the Office program as Administrator, accept the
EULA, close the Office program, and then start the Office program normally

Are you using some program to clean out temp files before you open a
program in Office 03? When I run the clean up feature of System Suite 5,
this happens but after it's done "installing", it doesn't happen again
unless I run SS5 again. I am running XP, not Vista.

Unfortunately it doesnt give me the option to run as admin although i am the
admin :mad:0 some other programmes give me that option but not office

I shall have another go to suss this out later, everyone at work said steer
clear of vista and it looks like i should have listened to, no outlook sync
on active sync can only sync music, pics and videos, good move microsoft on
that one i bet theres buisnessmen everywhere that would rather than have the
ability to sync music and videos rather than buisness contacts and
appointments :mad:0 If i do have to go back to xp its going to be a pirate copy
Mr Gates because not all off us can afford to go out and keep purchasing your
products
