office pro 2007 compatibilty

Is microsoft office pro 2007 compatible with my operating sytem...windows xp
SP3 2002 version? I tried installing yet it keeps on failing with "error
occured during set up" message.Please help!Thanks.

Should be totally compatible. Have you uninstalled and rebooted after
uninstalling any trial version of Office?

Exact wording of error message and any error number will also be helpful.
