Office Pro 2007

H

Hopeless in Joplin

I bought a new {used} computer from my friend who is a networking specialist
recently. It already had Office 2003 installed on it. I am confident it is a
valid version. I bought the upgrade version of Microsoft Office Professional
2007. My computer is not recognizing any Office programs installed on the
computer anywhere. When I start installation, it asks for the product key. I
type in the key and it looks for the previous version of office. When i find
the office suite i have existing on my computer the program does not
recognize any office software. I browse for other parts of the office suite,
it does not recognize any part of the existing version. What do I do now???

If it was Office Home and Student edition then it isn't eligible for
upgrades. Also, unless you actually own the Office 2003 program (not
counting the Home and Student edition) and have the disc then you won't be
eligible for upgrades either.

You may have to purchase a full-version (sorry to be the bearer of bad news).
