office pro 95 error

I am getting this error after I reinstalled my MS Office Pro 95 program:
16 BIT WINDOWS SUBSYSTEM
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose'close' to terminate the
application.
I own this program, even though it is old. I had it installed and ran into
some PC problems and wiped everything off and started over. I need some
serious help on why I am getting these errors!! I get it when I try to open
Excel and Word. Have not tried Access or Powerpoint. please help me
