Office Problems after service pack and security patches installations

I recently installed all the service packs and security patches for Office, Outlook and IE6. After installation IE6 crashes, outlook comes up but I can not read or send messages (outlook express works) and all the Office programs do not function properly. I get a message that OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date. When I checked the download there was a new DLL loaded but not installed on my system. I have tried various ways to replace the DLL but the system will not let do it

Any suggestions? I need to resolve this ASAP and really do not want to reinstalled everything
