Dear all,
i have had installed office 2000 on my computer
for about 4 years now, I was not on the internet until the
last 2 years and it has been more recently that i have
discovered the importance of upgrading products online.
A friend lent me a copy of office 2003 as he uses it for
his business and it would not even install from the disk
let alone add any updates as already files were not
present. So i then removed office 2000 and tried again
with no luck. So i decided to reinstall 2000 but upgrade
it as good as it can be, and i cannot get past pack 1a.
I wondered if anyone could advise, are there other
updates that we need between the service packs so that
when we download them they will actually work?
I am keen to either have the best 2000 can offer or try
2003 since i have that on disk too. it appears to be
ridiculously easy to upgrade now that i have learnt that
you are supposed to, so why are there so many problems?
Any ideas welcomed,
thanks
