Office Prof 2003 re-install and product key problem

N

Nancy Q

My computer crashed, so I'm reinstalling all software. When I try to open a
Word doc, the installer pops ups and prompts me for my name, initials and
product key. When I put it in, it doesn't accept it--even though it
accepted it when I reinstalled it. It tells me "You have not entered a valid
product key". Any ideas on what I should do?
thanks!

I'm having the same problem and I got my key off the COA on my laptop...
Office came pre-installed on my laptop so when I ran the system restore I
locked myself out of Office...

That sticker is for Windows, not Office.
