Office Professional 2003 Uninstall issues

So I have a problem that is driving me nuts. I downloaded & installed MS
Accounting 2007 & Project 2007 for a trial run on a Vista Home Basic Laptop.
After the trial I uninstalled both & my problems have begun. The Office
Professional 2003 Installer constanstly pops up. I tried to insert the copy
of Office Professional 2003 setup disk and the disk drive says "Application
not found" (this is the same disk that I used to install Office Pro 2003 in
Feb of 2007). What in the wide wide world of Sports is a goin' on with this
thing?

This has resolved the installer constantly popping up. However, I have to
reset all of the shortcuts in All Programs. I have tried a number of
resolutions to my DVD player not being able to read burn/copied disc with no
success. Do you have any suggestions for this problem?
