Office Professional 2007- install ?

I have Office 2003 (without Publisher, etc.) installed from when I purchased
my computer. I just bought Office Professional 2007. Do I need to uninstall
2003? Will my previous documents open in 2007 if I do that? My OS is Windows
XP.

The Office 2007 that you purchased is it a Upgrade or a Retail full version.In any case it is always prudent to save all your files that you want to keep just in case.
