Is it cheeper to buy two more edditions, or figure out how to buy two more
licenses one for me, my wife and the inlaws. And yes Office Professional is
needed . We all have to bring home work. In a perfect world our companies
would buy it for us. we don't even get a tax brake. But it make life esaier.

Thank you for the input

Buying to more editions or 2 more licenses cost the same. You could look into
purchasing Office 2007 Professional Plus which comes with 5 licenses if I am correct
and is a VL version. This VL version will cost less than purchasing 2 other Retail
Office 2007 Pro's. Inquire about it from your Microsoft Reseller

Hello Brian B,

Office Professional Plus 2007 is a Volume Licensing product that is
inapprorpiate for use by consumers.

Office Professional Plus 2007 is a favorite of Office counterfeiters. They
prepare counterfeit discs and packaging that has Office Professional 2007
printed all over, but the included disc installs a Volume Licensing
installation of Office Professional Plus 2007, invaiably with an Invalid
Product Key that is detected by the Office Genuine Advantage utility.

Individual consumers should be purchasing retail licenses for Microsoft
Office. Full retail licenses allow the product to be installed on two
computers. OEM licenses, which are issued by major manufacturers when you
purchase Office preinstalled on a new computer, are only permitted to be
installed on the computer onto which they are first installed and are not
permitted to be moved to any other computer. OEM licenses live and die with
the original computer.

Microsoft Office comes in many different editions of different combinations
of the component programs. Don't make the mistake of "overbuying" Office,
paying for an edition that has one or two programs that you'll never use.

If you work for a larger company, they may be a participant in the Home Use
Program (HUP). http://www.microsofthup.com/hupus/chooser.aspx?culture=en-US

No, please read the EULA. As to your in-laws, have them download and
install the 2007 Office Compatibility package.
