OFFICE PROGRAMS NOT OPENING

I have office 2003 pro installed which i have been using forever and has been
working fine up until now. Now, everytime i try to use any Office program, it
states an error message that I can "this application must be installed to
run. Please run Setup from the location where you originally installed the
application." I removed and reinstalled the program, all the icons are there
on my computer and installation was successful and I still get this error
message appearing. Please help!
