Office programs require installation CD

Hi,

Situation:

the boss is using his laptop away from the office. He cannot use
outlook, excel, word etc because they keep asking for the installation CD.

The event log is showing request for installation of feature
"InternationalSupportFiles_JPN" failed (obviously because there is no
disk available).

Does any one know if there is anything that can be done by the user to
prevent Office trying to install this feature?

Obviously, when the user returns to the office we have the disk here,
but that won't be for some days yet.
