Office Registration Key on Silent Install

James

Hi all,

I've set up a custom installation of Office XP using a
setup.ini file and an mst file. It works as expected and
installs Office XP with all the settings and features that
I want, so thats great.

The only thing I want to be able to do now is automate the
entering of the product key as well. At present the key
needs to be entered manually when one of the Office
applications is first run.

Can I include the product key somewhere in the ini file,
or is there someplace in the mst that I need to key it in?

Hi James,

For MS Office XP you can use an Enterprise (Volume License)
key when creating your Office admin point and the key prompt
should not then occur for users.
