Office reinstall Error

Dear,
I had a problem and I tried to reinstall the office - at the half way stage
the installation prompted me as " C:\program files\common files\microsoft
shared\speech\1033\SPCPLUI.DLL is protected by windows - contact the system
adminstrator or ...(can't remember exactly)- please can someone help me to
reinstall the office 2003

I use windowsXP Pro SP2 with all the updates.

Please help
