Office reinstallation

I am not sure whether this is the right place to ask this question.

I have office (academic version) installed on my computer.
I am using Vista, and that means that I have to reinstall the opearting
system quite often. :-(
Well, since I have already pressed the 'register' button from the Office
environment, I am afraid that after I return my machine to the original
version as it came from the factory (the current system will be completely
wiped out), and reinstall theOS and the Office, I will be unable to
reregister the program again. Is there something I can do to be able to use
my program in the new environment? I did not steal it, and I belive that I
have the right to reinstal it on the same machine under the same operating
system.

Jerry,

Product activation may be done on the same machine as often as you need to.
If the product fails activation over the internet, use the telephone method
of activation.

Registration is different from activation, by the way.
