office setup license problem

Hi,
I have a legit MLK for Office Small Business 2007 but when I download the
trial version from the Microsoft website and install it then try to update
using my Key it doesn't allow it with the red cross and ...isn't a valid
license key.

The kit does say 'For use only with a new Microsoft Office Ready PC. Which
this is but we have had a few problems and Office has been uninstalled.

Can I download the correct version of Office? Or is there another way around
this problem?

The OEM needed to PRE-install it on your PC.

Keys are tied to versions and the MLK keys do not work with the trial
versions - you need the mlk media, which is at the url DL provided.
