I’m at the part of the installation where I’m supposed to perform the task
“On the Application Management page, in the Office SharePoint Server Shared
Services section, click Create or Configure this Farm's Shared Services.†My
issue is I do not have any menu option of “Office SharePoint Server Shared
Servicesâ€; the only menu options I have available for selection is:
- SharePoint Web Application Management
- SharePoint Site Management
- Application Security
- External Service Connections
- Workflow Management
Where is the Office SharePoint Server Shared Services section located? I’m
installing on a server farm with one server having SharePoint 3.0 / SQL 2005
and the other server has Project Server 2007. I’ve tried using the task that
Project Server creates of “Administrator Tasks: Configure server farm's
shared servicesâ€, however I end up being navigated to an error page when I
select the link in the task. Any suggestions?
