I am using the Office Shim wizard to create a shim for our Office Add-in
(which is not VSTO). I set the .NET framework version to 2.0.50727 for the
call to CorBindToRuntimeEx.
If I create an Excel.exe.config file to load .NET 1.1 for Excel 2003 our
add-in still loads in Excel and everything works correctly. However, if I
create an Excel.exe.config file to load .NET 1.1 for Excel 2007 our add-in is
not loaded in Excel 2007 and our add-in is disabled. The LoadBehavior is set
to 2.
Why does that happen and is there a workaround?
