Office shortcut bar doesn't autohide

I installed the Office XP shortcut bar to go with my Office 2003 It works
okay except that recently, the autohide feature quit working. I have tried
unselecting and reselecting autohide but no luck. And it doesn't matter
which side of the screen it is docked on. Any suggestions?
