office shortcut bar

How do I get the office shorcut bar to appear on the
desktop for office xp pro? I used to type msoffice.exe
with office 97 on a windows 98 machine. Now office pro is
installed on a windows xp machine and the shortcut bar did
not appear. The search did not work.

Office XP does not install the shortcut bar by default. Office 2003 does not
have a shortcut bar.

Run setup again {Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, click on Change or
Remove for MS Office} and select add or remove features. Under Tools,
install the Office Shortcut Bar.
