Office Shortcut Bar

Shortcut.bar newsgroup appear to be a ghost town, there posting here.


My microsoft office shortcut bar disappears...I mean gone not just
hidden. The only way I can get it back is to remove the product ID
and then click on the shortcut.

It also disappears out of the startup. Very odd. It has been a
continuing problem for some time. Any assistance appreciated.

Hope that this is relevant to your issue, but I've come
across some similar issues with the MS Office Shortcut bar.

Might want to try moving to the directory that you have
installed Office into [e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office10\ ] and use the following 'OSA.EXE -o'.
Hopefully should start the Shortcut bar and prompt
regarding start-up options.

Failing that the following Microsoft KB articles might be
of use.

Thanks but didn't work. Don't have that file osa.exe or osa9.exe .
Also, I check through the MS glitches concerning the Office shortcut
bar but nothing quite like my experience.
