Office Shortcut Bar

I just upgraded from Office 97 Professional to Office 2003 Prof. I was very used to the shortcut toolbar. Not just for office apps, but others as well. The Help index indicated 2003 no longer offers this convenient feature. My questions are: Why? And if it's not something that's bad for the computer, can I download the feature from somewhere?

There are often posts about that here, and there have been some solutions

There isn't an OSB in MOS 2003 but these may help--and although MS doesn't
officially recommend it, you could get the shortcut bar from a previous
version as a workaround. See MSKBs below:

Some folks have also recommended third-party products like Jet Toolbar. I
can't say, because I use the Windows Task Bar.
