Office Shortcut Bar

I have grown accustom to the Microsoft Office Shortcut
Bar, but lost it when I upgraded to Office 2003
Professional. It is still listed under the programs
list, but will not come up when clicked. Is there an
update to get it to run with Office 2003.

The "Great and Powerful Gates" decided you didn't want it anymore. <Pay no
attention to the man behind the curtain>

There are, however, a number of free and shareware sort of replacements. You
can "Google" for a list of them. Ain't monopolies great...you get to pay $100s
of dollars for an upgrade and them you can try to find a way to get back the
features you knew and loved!

Sorry, guys. I'm a staunch MS buyer and supporter(Win 3.0 to present), but
this dog don't hunt.

Cheers,
John

I found a workable solution that I had heard about
somewhere. I made a shortcut to the destop of the
Microsoft Office files, clicked on it and drug it to the
top making a tool bar. I then added other program icons
by draging them to the tool bar. By right clicking on
the tool bar I checked "always on top" and "auto hide" to
get it out of the way when not needed.

Hi Gary,

You can use a Windows toolbar instead. For more information and a
tutorial take a look at this article:
