Office Small Buisness 2007 Upgrade

Upgraded 2003 to 2007 on my HP Laptop running Vista Home Premium.

Outlook now runs extremely slow and I get the following error messages.
Also when Send and Receive completes the emails do not appear for about a
minute.

A data file did not close properly the last time it was used and is being
checked for problems. The check is done finding no problems. The error
message comes back every time I use Outlook. I have tried reinstalling
Office and also repairing Office 2007 with NO luck in fixing the problem.

I also get the error message even though Outlook is set as my default
program for email, calendar and contacts. Outlook is not currently your
default program for E-mail, Calendar and Contacts. Would you like to make it
the default program?

None of these problems occured while using Office 2003 on this Vista Computer.

It sounds like you have shutdown issues with Outlook. These are often caused
by addins.

After changing Outlook version it is also highly recommended to recreate you
mail profile as per;
