Office Software switch?

I have recently purchased two computers. One came with Office XP
Professional installed already and the other came with Office XP Small
Biz installed. I was wondering if it is possible to switch the
packages between computers so the the computer that currently has
Office XP Pro will know have Office XP Small Biz and vice versa?

Any thoughts?

If either Office package is an OEM package then no you cannot switch
them. The OEM license locks the copy of Office to the PC it was first
installed on.

One more thing, if both Office copies are not OEM (are retail
versions) then you can swap them.

Well, both computers were Dell computers so I contacted them and they
said that I could do it even though they came with the computers. I
have already uninstalled the SBE on the one and installed the Pro
version on it and it seems to be working so far. Thanks for the help.
