Office SP1 download

I have installed Windows XP SP2 on my machine. I successfully downloaded
Office SP1 on my machine but it will not install.

I put the Office CD in when it requested it but the download is looking for
a file called SKU011.CAB, which it cannot find. Therefore, I have to cancel
the download because it will not go any further.

Now, whenever I got to use "excel", it starts the install and I have to keep
canceling it because it won't install without that file.

Can anyone tell me what to do?

Thanks, garfield, but I have the complete Office CD with everything on it.
Looking at the files on it, most of them are "zipped."

I have now found the SKU011.CAB file but it is a "zipped file" and contains
a whole bunch of other files when unzipped. I can't understand why the
install would want a "zipped file". What the heck can it do with it.

Do you have any clues????

It's good that you have the Office CD. I'm guessing you have Office 2003
(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Outlook) since you don't say otherwise.
What other Microsoft applications do you have? Sometimes the installer
program mistakenly looks for a .cab file from Front Page, Publisher, Visio,
One Note, or some other Microsoft application that was installed separately
from Office. Other users have reported that sku011.cab was on their Front
Page CD, which is why I suggested that you try it.
