Office SP2 full update still prompts me for CD

I'm trying to install SP2 for Office 2003 on my company laptop, which
had Office pre-installed on it and I won't be able to get my hands on
the original CD for a while. I'm using the full update file, but after
it collects the configuration information it presents a dialog boc
asking me to "Insert file Microsoft Professional Edition 2003 disk and
click OK". I have stopped all running programs, but can't get round
this problem.

The file I am using is Office2003SP2-KB887616-FullFile-ENU.exe with
size 104,293 Kb - a quick google shows that it has worked well for
other people. Any ideas what I need to do?
