Office SP3 Autocorrect Plain and Rich Text Issue

Hello, I am wondering about the status on a real fix for Outlook SP3
autocorrect issue? It no longer works for plain or rich text email.
Uninstalling SP3 isn't an option -we just pushed it through WSUS to 300
clients. Using Word as an email editor also isn't an option - html email
causes too many problems.

Please Microsoft MVP's help! Thank you.
