Office SP3 Update Problems

I have tried to update the Office SP3 Update several times, but when I do the
installer says I need to insert the 'Microsoft XP Professional' cd. I do not
have this cd, since everything came preinstalled on my computer. (I purchased
it through my university) I tried using the full-file update, which is not
supposed to need the cd, but it still does not work. Does anyone have any
ideas to help me fix this?

Hi Josh,

You may need to contact the school for information on
obtaining the CD. The school/education license and
the Academic retail packages should have CDs available.

The MS Installer expects to always have access to the
installation source when it detects a problem.
