I went into office.microsoft.com to see if I needed any
office updates. It said I needed Office 2000 SR1a which I
downloaded to my Download file on computer. Now when I go
to any program and click HELP, ABOUT it shows that SR1
has been added. Just got done reading a previous post
where the inquiry was their download worked fine for
office 2000 SR1a but upon using Wizard to update they ran
across a problem and the suggestion was to see if they had
a firewall or anti-virus program enabled. My question is
this: Since I downloaded the SR1a and it shows up on my
computer, does this mean it has successfully downloaded? I
did not use wizard to install it because I am not sure
what that is, but is that something that I also need to do
and if so, will I need to turn of my firewall (with
Microsoft) and disable my NAV? Any help out there?
