Office SR1a update problem

When I installed this update for office 2000, it removed
the font names for most of the fonts in the dropdown list
in word. I've checked the microsoft website and it would
be easier to find a needle in a haystack. Can anyone tell
me a fix for this or point me in the right direction?

Click on Start | Control Panel | Printers, select a printer that is
capable of printing fonts (not "Generic/Text Only"), and make it the
default printer.
