Hi Callistus, MS Office Student Teachers Edition is MS Office Standard Edition with a different license allowance (Student & Teacher's Edition allows 3 installation/activations) and the Student Teacher's Edition isn't a qualifying product for a future 'upgrade' edition of MS Office. http://microsoft.com/office/howtobuy ======= As an eligible military member, I recently purchased MS Office Standard Edition 2003 in a retail box labeled Military Appreciaiton Edition. During installation, the initial screens display "Office Standard Edition 2003". After entering the product key, the setup screen then displays "Microsoft Standard Edition 2003 for Students and teachers" even though the retail packaging does not identify it as such. Which version is this? What exactly (other than license agreement) is the difference in the editions? Any known reason for this? << -- Let us know if this helped you, Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP Pricing and Packages for '2007 Microsoft Office System' http://microsoft.com/office/preview
