Hi, mlc,

This file is part of the retail package of Office XP Standard Edition, on
the main CD. The Windows Installer expects to always have access to the
original installation source. If the software was preinstalled on the PC
then the
installer may have used the wrong image to create the setup and should redo
it. Was it pre-installed, or did you install it?

You may want to check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control Panel to
see what editions are listed. Then uninstall those and install from your
current CD to get everything in sync.

If you no longer have your CD, you can contact Microsoft through
800-360-7561 about replacement CDs, or contact your original equipment
manufacturer if it was pre-installed.
