Here are simple aggravations in Office 2007, that will likely persist in
Office 2010, because they reflect laziness and lack of quality control.
1. The method for creating individual envelope addresses has not
significantly changed since Windows 3.x days.
One annoying aggravation is that the envelope creation box only allows you
to print from the default printer.
2. There is no simple way to create a default style for Excel comments.
Changing the default comment font still requires changing the system fonts.
Any Microsoft shill have an explanation for that one?
3. In Office 2007 you simply click in Word to change the default save folder
but you have to manually enter that in Excel. Doesn't anyone at Microsoft
look at stuff like that before shipping such an overpriced cash cow?
4. The Ribbon of Abomination or else: nothing more need be written about
Office and Microsoft's utter contempt for its customers. Who does Microsoft
think they are, Apple?
