Office Student & Teacher Edition 2003

I've just installed Office Student & Teacher Edition 2003
on my computer, have created varous files & can now not
open any of them. Excel files are giving me an error
message of 'The file cannot be opened because your virus
scanner has detected a problem with the file.' Word
files simply say 'File not available.'

Any suggestions?

Hi Beth,

In Norton AV go to Norton Options and in the Miscellaneous section
turn off "Enable Office Plug-in".
