office student/teacher edition product key

My husband bought the student teacher edition a while back and I don't
remember if we actually installed it on my old broken down computer or
not. We just moved and somehow in the consolidation effort he threw
away the box except for the side panel that has the microsoft
certificate of authenticity. He can't locate the the CD cover that
actually had the product key on it and now we're trying to install it
on the new computer he bought for the kids. Are there any options or
do we have to go out and buy it all over again just because he lost the
CD cover??

Without the Product Key, you have to recourse other
than to purchase another copy of Office....sorry.

If you did install it on the old computer and still have the old puter....
just fire up the old computer and download & run Belarc Advisor, it will
give you the key.

gotta love the advancements in technology that keep us honest,

gotta love the advancements in technology that keep us honest,
hard-working (yet absent-minded) folks from being able to take
advantage of software we already purchased once.. guess microsoft
employees never make mistakes..
