Office System 2003 pro installation.

I've just downloaded the release of office 2003 and
successfully installed it with ease on my XP pro box.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said on my 2003 server.
It happily removed the beta 2 installation and got as far
as the 'Preparing Microsoft Office Professional Edition
2003 Installation Wizard...' dialog and then it just sits
there for about 5 minutes and then it just disappears
leaving an error, event id 11708: "Product: Microsoft
Office Professional Edition 2003 -- Installation
operation failed".

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Paul,

Are you installing from a workstation to the
server or are you on the server as Admin?
Were all other apps/utilities/antivirus shut down
when you ran setup?

Can you go to Start=>Run and type
%TEMP%
and from that folder copy and email me the
Office log files (.txt) from that folder for the
latest attempt to install where you saw this
error?

Bob,

I've just tried mailing you the logs but your mailbox is
full.
