Office takes an age to browse for files.

Hi,

I have this problem on a few XP machines in the business.
If I open any Office program and the choose File>Open.
The Open dialog box appears but when i click on 'Look
in:' it can take up to 2 > 3 minutes to display anything.
The versions of office i am using are XP and 2003.

Does anybody have a remedy for this.

Check for any old (discontinued) network drives.
