We have a mixed environment of W2K and XP Pro machines running in a W2K3
domain. The W2K machines run Office 2K and the XP machines run Office 2K3.
What I am trying to do is set the default location via GPOs for workgroup
templates but based on which version of Office the user has (a request from
up on high....). Essentially they don't want to separate out the users into
different GPOs to apply the ADMs and they don't want to have entries in the
registry for the version of office that isn't being used.
I'm stuck and not having scripted before, would have no idea what to look at
on that side of things.
