Office Titlebar?

Is there a way to display the full path in titlebar of Word, like it can be
done in Windows?

Any reply would be helpful.

Hi Dave,

Yes and no.

There are several macros you can incorporate to show the full path on
the title bar however they can be unreliable. I used them at one time
and found I accidentally saved over an important document because the
file name and path in title bar did not update correctly. :-(

The best method is to use the Address bar from the Web toolbar and
place it to the left of your Help menu:

- Turn on your Web toolbar
- Right-click any toolbar and select Customize
- Hold Ctrl (to copy) and drag the Address bar to the right of your
Help menu
- Release Ctrl and click the Address bar to select it
- Place your mouse on the right edge, watch for the sizing pointer,
and resize the Address bar to fill the entire empty space
