Office Tool Bar

by mistake I put a word document from my desktop to my Office tool bar, I
have looked all over to find instructions on how to remove it from the Tool
Bar without losing the document. I took it from my Desktop and can't get it
back. It will not open while on this Tool Bar. Could someone please help? I
can't afford to lose this document if possible.
Thanks in advance, Davd

Use My computer or Windows Explorer and navigate to ....

(application data)\Microsoft\Office\Shortcut Bar

The exact location will be Windows version-dependent - on XP it will be in
(documents and settins\userid), in 98 I think it will be in c:windows\.

The above contains folders for the various shortcut bars - find the one with
your document and move it back to your desktop or wherever you want it.

Sorry you lost your doc.

I don't think it's easy to get a doc into the toolbar. If it happened
accidentally let's hope it doesn't happen again :)

Tony: You can bet good money on doing it again, this old man learned a
valuable lesson. Once again thanks for the help.

Thanks Bunches,
David
