Office Toolbar

How do I turn on the office toolbar so that it is
displayed on my desktop? I don't know if the name is
office toolbar or office shortcut bar but it is displayed
on the desktop not on any particular microsoft
application like word or access.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You don't mention the version of Office, but here are some ideas independent of
that. First look under Start>Programs>Microsoft Office Tools to see if there is
an entry for Office Shortcut Bar. If it's there click it. Some versions of
Office don't install the SCB by default. If yours didn't go to Control
Panel>Add/Remove Programs and choose Change/Remove MS Office follow the options
to get to the add features menu(you'll need your Office CD) and find Office
Tools. Select option to install the Shortcut Bar. If necessary do the
"Start>Programs" routine above.
