Office Trial 2003 - Outlook

T

Terry

I have used the 120 day trial of Office 2003 for about
one month now. At times Outlook would shut down just
after starting up, but then I could bring it back with
another restart.

Last week, Outlook failed to start at all. It would get
about 80% there and then shut down. All other Office
programs contnue to work as normal.

So now I am back home with the install disks and I select
to repair the install. Then everything works fine again.
But then after a reboot - back to the same problem.
Repair and it works again.

What is wrong here?

Thanks - Terry

Did you install it as an upgrade over an older version of outlook? if so,
did you make a new profile? New profiles seem to help...
Can you identify things that cause it to crash? If when checking mail or
using the tools, send/receive menu, delete the *.srs files for your profile.
Crashing when using other menus, delete the outcmd.dat file.
