Office 2003 was offered on my computer as a trial. Since I wanted to use Office 97, I uninstalled Office 2003. But now every time I want to use my version of Adobe Acrobat Professional, Office 2003 keeps trying to install itself over & over. I have to hit "cancel" 20 times to get it to quit. And apparently the files for installation are gone, even though I have done a system restore to the point before I uninstalled Office 2003. I don't know how to get this to stop. I just want to use 97. I have tried uninstalling 2003 again (since it's obviously not completely gone), but then my .doc files come up as not valid win32 files for associating with 97. Okay, I know this is confusing....should I just order another evaluation copy of 2003 (for $7.95), install the stupid thing and go from there?
