Office Trial version was in Spanish

I received Office Professional 2007 a couple of years ago at the launch tour.
It was a download only and now I have reformatted my hard drive and
re-installed Windows and need to download it again. The original download
page is gone but someone mentioned that you could donwload the trial version
and use your Product Key on it and it would work. I have tried many times to
download the trail version from here:
http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/product.aspx?sku=3203819&culture=en-US
I selected the english version but when I go to install it, the first few
windows are all in spanish. I have not tried to fully install it but I
assume it is going to install the spanish version. I have repeatedly
downloaded this selecting english and even trying the spanish version to see
if they were switched but it always starts to load in spanish. I contacted
MS support yesterday but have not heard back from them.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,

You have another problem because the screens you are talking about are in
English for me. In future save the download file, burn it to CD and save
the Product Key with it. That solves a lot of unanticipated problems like
this one before hand.

Those screens are in english for me also. It is after I download the files
and try to install them that the spanish wording begins.

I keep having the same problem. Did you solve your problem and if so, how?

Please help!

Thanks, Earle, for your quick reply. Normally, I would prefer a CD
replacement; however, I need to use the Powerpoint to turn in a homework
assignment before tomorrow night.

Do you, or anyone, know why, even after choosing to download the trial
version in English, it downloads in Spanish and how to change? I have went
into the Microsoft Office Tools and the closest English option I can find is
English (Canada), which does not seem to work.

Somebody at Microsoft screwed up. Not for the first time. Not for the last
time. Spanish speakers like myself are pretty happy about being able to get
a Spanish localized version in the US. But it looks as if they
overcompensated. Microsoft Office 2007 Language Settings only works to
change interface language if you have multiple Office Language Packs
installed, like this:

If you don't mind spending $24.95 you could download the English Language
Pack for Office 2007.

Then you could switch the user interface between English and Spanish, like I
can.

English Canada and English US is one and the same.

Uninstall all of the Office that is on your computer and then install the valid
English which then you will be able to download.

The Office version that you received a couple of years ago is the cause of your
issue. So uninstall it and then go and get your English download from wherever you
want to

The old version install is not the problem in my case. I have reformatted
my hard drive and done a clean re-install of windows and have no office
installed at all.

Thanks Earle, I'll try your advise.

Thanks for the email address. I just sent them an email.

Regarding the link, am I missing something on that page? I only see the
retail versions of the product. I don't see any trial downloads.

Thanks,

On the left there are links for "Customer Service", "Purchase History" and
"Trial History". If you follow "Customer Service" you can get to a form for
submitting your request. If you click on "Purchase History" or "Trial
History" and enter the email and password you used for the transaction, then
you should be able to access an electronic copy of your invoice.

The Trial Page that you reference below also has a link for submitting an
email customer service request. The Spanish-only problem appears to be a
simple error in the web page or in the download. Perhaps they can fix it
for you without too much trouble. The form to contact Customer Service is
here. The more information you provide them, the easier they will be able
to find your order.
