Office Ultimate 2007

I recently bought Office Ultimate 2007 but it won't work! I downloaded it and
once I was about to install it an error came up saying, "Installation of this
package failed". I have tried finding out how to solve it but getting
nowhere. Please help.

As far as i know yes. My computer is only a year old so I would assume so. I
have read that other people have also had this problem. It's very anonying as
it has been paid for!

Does your system meet the minimum requirements to run that software?

Well it said i needed Windows (which i have) and also storage space (which i
have plenty of). What are the requirements exactly and i'll tell you! No-one

500 MHz processor with 256 MB RAM - yet another example of MS being VERY
economical with the truth - I am running Office 2007 on a
933 MHz processor with 1GB RA and it's just about OK. My other machine has a
2.6 GHz processor with 1GB RAM and performance is noticably better

Umm that page says the minimum RAM is 256MB. WHAT? That is TOTALLY
misleading. Considering current consensus is that XP benefits from 512 MB on
it's own, and Vista needs at LEAST 1GB, what is MS on? Do you know that the
site for XP requirements STILL says a minimum of 128 MB RAM?
Does MS ever look at these sites and change them?

Did you disable the anti-virus scanner and other interfering software
during the install?
